Pearl Harbor Survivor: Lualualei Naval Ammunition Depot

Theodore B. "Ted" Roosvall, Jr. was a U.S. Marine Corps Corporal serving Quartermaster duty at the Lualualei Naval Ammunition Depot on Oahu at the time of the Pearl Harbor Attack on December 7, 1941.  He joined the Marine Corps in January 1939 and served for 22 years.  He was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association, Chapter 31, and served as their chaplain for many years.  He was instrumental in lobbying for the construction of Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego and his was one of the first interments there.
